Lets go to the beach, beach, lets go get away

Seasons Greetings! I hope everyone has had a wonderful silly season filled with never ending bowls of pudding and overflowing glasses of champagne. Things have been a tad quiet round these traps lately due to a pesky blog glitch. After weeks of shaking my little fists at the computer screen things are finally sorted and I can get back to sharing a plethora of summery posts. It's a Christmas Miracle!

These photographs were taken on South Cronulla Beach a few weeks back. It was a pretty dismal day so I foolishly neglected my stringent sunscreen application routine and lounged around for countless hours in the pristine sand. Sadly the Australian sun pulled the wool over my eyes once more and I arrived home looking less like a lady and more like a lobster... I like to think that the novelty sized hibiscus adorning my bob provided some shade as my face was left relatively unsinged by the harmful rays. Suffice to say I'll be lathering myself religiously with SPF+ 50 before any future seaside excursions!

Memory Lane

Yesterday I got my mits on a USB stick crammed with hundreds of film photographs from my past life in Melbourne. If you've been following along for a while now you might remember when this ol' blog was mostly just candid film shots, taken in my crumbly old Art Deco apartment (which I miss terribly) These gems are from way back in 2011 when my darling Dette and I would spend our nights guzzling vodka on the St Kilda sands, dancing to Bon Jovi, skipping down the sidewalk hand and hand and never ever passing Flinders Street Station without a quick hammy pose in the old photo booth.

I've been such a busy bee lately, but I'm trying my darndest to resurrect this little corner of the internet. I do have plenty of posts in the works so I hope you're ready for more flowers, pretty ladies and vacay than you can poke a stick at...
